Hunger Task Force Mission and Volunteering/Giving Opportunities: August 2010
|
|
Volunteering/Giving Opportunities:
AUGUST IS: MAC & CHEESE!!
1) The August Food of the Month - in a tribute to Yankee Doodle (original name Yankel Doodlestein) - is Macaroni and Cheese. Please drop off only macaroni and cheese at the Synagogue: feathers stuck in hats and called macaroni cannot be accepted.
Come on by and drop off your box of Mac & Cheese or click here to email Rabbi Simonds and one of our Tikkun Olam drivers will pick it up for you!
2. Sign up to be a Donation of the Month Driver. For those who cannot bring their donation to the synagogue, we will drive to their home and pick it up for them. You can do this alone, with a friend, spouse or children. Get everyone involved as you turn your car into a vehicle in the fight to end hunger. To be a volunteer contact Rabbi Simonds rabbisimonds@unisyn.org
