University Synagogue has a rich and vibrant history as one of West Los Angeles' oldest communities. Founded in 1943, University Synagogue offers its congregants worship services, religious education programs, festival celebrations, Life-Cycle Events, and opportunities to become more involved as members of our Synagogue Family.

We have groups and activities for a wide variety of interests and ages, including: Adult Choir, Adult Education, Havurah, 20s and 30s/Young professionals group, Silver Generation, Mitzvah Corps, Youth Groups Junior UNITY and UNITY, Outreach to Interfaith couples or individuals and Conversion to Judaism programs.
