One of the core Jewish values of University Synagogue is to deepen our ties with the people, land, and State of Israel.
We work to strengthen our bonds with Israel and draw strength from her. Learning about the Jewish values and ideas at the foundation of our relationship with Israel engages congregants in thinking about the meaning that Israel can have in our lives and what our role might be in envisioning and building the future of the Jewish State.
It is important for us to seek to increase the congregation's experience of Israeli culture, understand the work of the Reform Movement in Israel, make connections with Israel’s citizens – and help facilitate support for Israel.
